Certified Organic and Fair-trade underwear brand, Mighty Good Undies are set to disrupt the conventional chemical cotton farming industry with their mens and women’s basics underwear.
The Mighty Good Undies brand is spearheaded by activist and ethical fashion designer Dr Hannah Parris
and Entrepreneur Elena Antoniou who’s concept was to educate every day consumers about conventional cotton whilst celebrating fair-trade and organic practices.
Dr Parris says “We wanted to create an accessible, ethical and organic product that would act as a tool to
disrupt the way people see, understand and buy conventional cotton and labour. Cotton textile makes up
about 1/3 of textile use and has the most damaging effects on people and the planet.”
The Mighty Good crowd-funding campaign is launching on the 18th April 2016 on Australian Social Enterprise platform, Start Some Good which aims to raise enough funds to manufacturer 3 styles in the range and to take the brand to the worlds largest ethical fashion trade show in Berlin in June 2016 with the aim to be stocked by major International retailers.
Elena says, “You don’t need to sacrifice design or style for organic and ethical manufacturing which is how we’ve been able to create a quality product that has appeal to major retailers and consumers alike.”
Prices start at $13.50AUD. There’s really no reason why you shouldn’t #switchyourunderwear
